“Pink Rice: A Mexican Culinary Staple”

The world’s cuisines are all different because of the way flavors and textures mix together. Mexican cuisine is not an exception when we consider its rich history. This gastronomy is rooted in the historical communities that lived on what’s today the Mexican land. It offers a variety of flavorful dishes, including some staple meals you can make at home.
Mexican cuisine is, as we have stated, a mix of the foods that colonizers brought and the food that mother nature provided and the Aztecs exploited. They not only mastered the art of harvesting and planting, but also the best way to make the most of every ingredient.

Mexican rice continues to be a favorite among both locals and tourists. You can have authentic Mexican rice in the comfort of your home, and pretend it was delivered from the Riviera Cana.

Mexican Pink Rice
You must have figured out by now that Mexican and Spanish rices, as well as pink rice are almost identical. These are all different names for the same dish, with some minor variations. It’s delicious no matter what you use, whether it’s tomato sauce or Saffron. You’re welcome try all the variations.

The recipes in this country are based on a simple precept, which is to use easily discovered ingredients and make easy preparations. Mexican rice is exactly that. It can be both a side dish and an important dish. Do not miss out on having it with rooster as a side dish. This is a really tasty deal.

Add 2 tablespoons of virgin olive oil.
2 cups of white Rice
1 cup cubed onion.
2 cups cubed tomatoes
Garlic powder, 2 tablespoons
Black pepper, 1 tbsp.
Salt 1 tbsp.
Half a cup of tomato sauce
Use 1 1/2 cups rooster broth or vegetable stock.
Directions
Heat some virgin olive oil on a large or medium-sized skillet. Keep the heat at a low level.
Place two cups of rice in the skillet. It should be browned and constantly stirred to prevent it from burning. Cook the dinner on low heat for a few moments.
Place the onion that you have already peeled and diced in the pan. Then, add the tomatoes. Stir everything together. Cook dinner for a few minutes. Stir continuously.
Add the vegetable or rooster broth. Add the tomato sauce to the mixture and combine all of the ingredients.
Add two tablespoons each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the mixture. Oregano, paprika and other spices go well with this combination.
Once the liquid reaches a boil on medium heat, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cover the skillet with the lid. All the things for 15 to 20 minutes. Try not to uncover the skillet. Test the rice frequently.
The liquid must then be absorbed completely and the rice must be cooked. Test the seasoning by removing it from its cover. You can now add any seasoning that you feel is necessary.
Turn the pan off, and leave it with the lid on. Steam will finish cooking the dish, and give it a creamier touch.
Ideas for cooking dinner
Powder variations can be used to change the taste of contemporary greens that take a little longer to prepare. Use onion powder with a flavor dice to replace the bouillon.
To make tomato sauce, you can use tomato paste. Use two tablespoons in this case. This is more than enough.
Remember that this is a traditional Mexican dish. If you enjoy spicy food and want to stay true to the original recipe, then add chili powder to your rice while it is cooking.
